My name is Paul Currie, a software developer living out of southern Ontario, Canada. My first experience with software development was in the late 80's pursuing a technical degree at Fanshawe college. Post tech bubble burst I worked in the manufacturing sector for almost 30 years.
Cue a career change that has me pursuing an updated degree at Fanshawe and looking to branch out into different industries, using my experience with process automation and optimization and bringing that to the tech world.
The best way to describe my approach to software development is "classic development made modern" - take the age old principles of the manufacturing world like quality assurance and standardization, and apply them to the modern software development pipeline.
My current focus is on Object Oriented programming with a focus on Java development.
